That was me in 2001 – the dotcom bust – 9/11 – past 55 – and no desire to be retired much less unemployed. After weeks and months and a few years went by, my kids eventually told people I was retired. I could never get those words out.
You will hear my story in time, but right now I am interested in yours. Would love to hear from those who became “jobless” after the age of 55 and the challenges that you encountered with both your job search and/or the retirement alternate.
